An individual or business wanting to open up a centre with IndiaSkills can get in touch over phone or email (details are available on the IndiaSkills website). An IndiaSkills sales representative will discuss business plans with the interested party, who can then complete the formalities to take it forward.
The centre should meet all legal, quality and infrastructural requirements. An external verifier will visit the centre and overhaul the entire set up for approval. The external verifier’s report will then be reviewed by an IndiaSkills team. After approval, a Vocational Training Centre start-up kit and other launch support is given to the centre. IndiaSkills will organise a ‘train-the-trainers’ programme so that faculty is well-equipped and certified to take classes. IndiaSkills supports the centre in marketing and other requirements.
