The Level 2 Diploma in Security Operations (9806-01) is a 194-hour programme, specially designed to provide learners with the skills and knowledge required to meet industry standards of the security services industry. Interactive classroom sessions provide learners with essential knowledge, while the practice sessions prepare learners for real life situations and enable them to test, practice and anchor key skills.
The programme also includes a study tour that includes a visit to a fire station, Civil Defence (CD) and the Home Guards (HG) Training Academy. Learners will have to participate in a one-day Outward Bound Learning (OBT) programme aimed at building endurance, stamina and team-building and undertake physical outdoor activities.

| Eligibility | IndiaSkills mandates that learners must be at least 16 years of age but below the age of 65 years. According to Private Security Agencies (Regulation) Act, 2005 (PSARA), the minimum age requirement for learners is 18 years. However, both agencies mandate that the learner should be medically certified to undergo the stress and strain of the physical training of the programme. |
